A Taliban suicide bomber detonated a vehicle packed with explosives Monday outside the home of a senior police officer tasked with cracking down on militants in Pakistan's largest city.
A suicide bombing killed two people, including a top police official on Friday, November 24, in the northern Pakistan city of Peshawar.
The attacker, a motorcyclist, rammed into a car carrying Additional Inspector General Ashraf Noor to work, triggering an explosion that killed Noor and one of his guards, Reuters reported.
Five other officers were hospitalized as a result of the explosion, according to Mashaal Radio.
