Queer As Folk

The original “Queer as Folk” followed three gay men navigating life in Manchester’s gay village. It lasted two seasons and ten episodes on BBC, but spawned a North American version a year later that lasted five seasons and 83 episodes. Set in Pittsburgh and shot in Toronto, the American-Canadian coproduction followed the romantic entanglements of a large ensemble cast of characters.
