    • FILE - In this Friday, Feb. 15, 2013 file photo, Rick Heltebrake, with his dog Suni, looks over the burned-out cabin where Christopher Dorner's remains were found after a police standoff Tuesday near Big Bear, Calif. An internal review by the Los Angeles Police Department concluded that rogue ex-officer Christopher Dorner was justifiably fired, a lawyer said on June 5. Dorner, who authorities say boasted that police agencies had

no chance of capturing him except on his terms, was

killed Feb. 12, 2013 in a fierce gun battle  at a mountain cabin 80 miles east of Los Angeles.
