Palestinian prisoners to end hunger strike

Palestinian prisoners on hunger strike agreed a deal with Israel on May 14 to end their fast in return for an easing of their conditions, officials on both sides said. Most of the 1,550 prisoners had stopped eating for up to four weeks to demand better conditions.
