landl47: Whatever Trump was being, it wasn't sarcastic. A president who doesn't know what common words mean is a fool. Let's put it quite simply. Trump indicated that he was prepared to condone or even reward Russian agents for spying on American officials if it was in his personal interest to do so. If he were to become president, our allies, looking at that, would not feel it was safe to share intelligence with him in case he thought it was in his own personal interest to release it. So we get no international intelligence and without it America is more vulnerable. This is not rocket science. Never mind that these emails were deleted years ago and there's no evidence that they were ever hacked or that they contained any sensitive information. The fact is that Trump said something which no sane head of state would ever say and that he doesn't even realize the ramifications of what he said. He is totally unfit to be president and any intelligent person, including many Republican members of Congress, knows it. It's time for them to show some backbone and urge voters not to support him. They must, for perhaps the first time in their lives, put country before themselves and before the party.
