In this Thursday, June 7, 2012 photo, Jason Moon, a veteran and singer-songwriter, performs during his concert in Glendale, Calif. Though he rejects the hero label, Moon, who served in the Army in the Iraq War, still considers himself a warrior, with a responsibility to look back to see who among his comrades remains in trouble. "I'm going back in to get them," he says. And he's doing it with music - "because that's what I know how to do." That, he says, is how he will complete the mission. (AP Photo/Jae C. Hong)
