The Enterprise, a 150,000-pound mammoth of a flying machine, goes on public display July 19 at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum's new Space Shuttle Pavilion. Encased in the center of an inflatable dome, the shuttle will be available for visitors to admire up close from just feet away.
