Mitchell: The people who already support Hillary are there. She needed to gather more and blew it by having to basically have every speaker (including an embarassingly unstable rambling Sarah Silverman) beg for unity when the email scandal showed how dis unified the Dems were. A lot of Bernie supporters are still angry and she may well have scared away the granola crowd into voting for the Green Party or Libertarian. Everyone of those votes will hurt Hillary and are effectively a vote for Trump. The Republicans who looked, going in, to be very split, meanwhile came out less split, with many of Cruz's supporters thinking he was a jerk and moving over to Trump. This is Hillary's election to lose, and she seems skilled at alienating undecided voters whenever she campaigns. Trump has already done as much alienating as he can do and has had the media bashing him from day one. It will be interesting.
