Cultural Support Teams in Afghanistan

The first Cultural Support Team, made up of 28 women, deployed to Afghanistan this year with Army Rangers and Special Forces. Two-woman teams are attached to larger special operations units. They go on patrols and into villages to help build community relations by engaging with Afghan women. (AP)
