Confession in China's murder scandal

Gu Kailai, the wife of ousted Communist Party Politburo member Bo Xilai,

confessed to murdering British businessman Neil Heywood

on Aug. 9 and blamed a mental breakdown for the events that

brought her to trial and toppled her once-powerful politician husband, Bo Xilai.
