Amazing portraits of wild animals

These stunning series of pictures capture the personalities of wild animals, through the amazing portrait style they have been shot.
Shot in stunning black and white, the detailed portraits of lions, zebra, deer and rhinos were taken during the space of four-and-a-half years. Photographer Ed Hetherington, 34, from Georgia took the portraits while travelling on trips to India and Africa. Ed said: One of the things that struck me during my travels was how so many of the guides knew these animals as individuals.
