10th anniversary of the legalization of gay marriage in Massachusetts

On May 17th, 2004, gay couples in Massachusetts were the first in the nation to be able to legally marry.
Here's a look at that historic day for the first couple to obtain a marriage license, Marcia Hams and Susan Shepard, and some of the plaintiff couples in Goodridge v. Department of Public Health, who all obtained their licenses and were married on the 17th.
