ST. LOUIS – Flash floods slammed the St. Louis region overnight as an intense round of storms brought heavy rain, lightning and gusty winds.
FOX 2 has learned of widespread flash flood damage in parts of west and north St. Louis County. In some cases, flash flooding also led to a few rescues and traffic tie-ups ahead of Tuesday’s commute.
SkyFOX, powered by Bommarito Automotive Group, flew over several spots with flash flooding that stuck around Tuesday morning.
SkyFOX spotted apparent flooding in Rock Hill near the Deer Creek area, the ballfields of Brentwood Sports Complex, Creve Coeur Mill Road, Creve Coeur Lake, Bellerive Golf Course and Valley Park, among other locations.
