The matriarch of the Bush family Barbara Bush died this week at the age of 92. It was announced Sunday that the wife of former U.S. President George H.W. Bush was in 'failing health' and would no longer seek medical treatment. Bush, lovingly known as "the enforcer" by her family, died at her home in Houston on Tuesday. The former first lady was known for her commitment to promoting literacy. She leaves behind five children, 17 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Other major headlines of the week included fallout from two black men being arrested inside a Philadelphia Starbucks, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani joining Trump's legal team and a woman dying after an engine failure on a Southwest Airlines flight.
