The wave of package bombings around Austin, Texas came to an end this week after the suspect blew himself up on the side of a highway. Mark Anthony Conditt confessed to the string of explosions that killed two people and injured five others in a 25-minute video found on his cell phone. Texas Home School Association President Tim Lambert said Conditt was raised in a Christian home and "reportedly walked away from his faith several years ago."
Other major headlines of the week included President Trump replacing national security adviser H.R. McMaster, a deadly shooting at a Maryland high school and more fallout from the data scandal involving Facebook and the political research group linked to Trump's campaign, Cambridge Analytica.
