First look at Game of Thrones Season 7: Team Dany has landed

It’s still a few more months before the season seven premiere of HBO’s “Game of Thrones”, but for now we’ll have to make do with these pictures of our favourite characters.

It looks like Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and her star-studded squad have landed in Westeros after crossing the ocean in the season six finale, while Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) doesn’t look too comfortable on the Iron Throne with her brother Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau).

Jon Snow (Kit Harington) may finally know something, though Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish (Aidan Gillen) and Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) do look like they’re about to solemnly swear that they’re up to no good.

Fan favourites Lyanna Mormont (Bella Ramsey), Ser Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham, whom Yahoo Lifestyle Singapore spoke to in Bangkok) and Sam and Gilly (John Bradley and Hannah Murray) seem to be doing well, although knowing “Game of Thrones” we’d do well to enjoy the moments while they last.

Meera Reed (Ellie Kendrick) is doing her best Hodor impression, but how that will work for her and Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead) remains to be seen.

Tormund (Kristofer Hivju) appears to have not given up trying to win the heart of Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie), and Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) is hopefully making her way up her kill list.

“Game of Thrones” premieres same time in Singapore as the US on 17 July at 9am on HBO (StarHub TV Ch 601). A same day encore will screen at 9pm.

The seven-episode season will also be available on HBO On Demand (StarHub TV Ch 602) and HBO on StarHub Go.
