The Dallas Cowboys fell short in their preseason opener against Jacksonville with a 28-23 loss at AT&T Stadium on Saturday.
The Cowboys fell behind early with two turnovers in the first half, including one by Rico Dowdle near the 1-yard line.
A bright spot came from sixth-round pick Deuce Vaughn, who burst through the Jacksonville defense to score a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
The Dallas Cowboys will face the Seattle Seahawks next Saturday.
