The Carolina Hurricanes opened their 2022-2023 season with a home game against the Columbus Blue Jackets at PNC Arena in Raleigh, N.C.
The Canes have won divisional titles the past two seasons. A year ago, they set a franchise record for points (116) in winning the Metropolitan Division. They led the NHL in fewest goals allowed per game, had the league’s best penalty killing. This year, they want to raise the Stanley Cup.
