Photo Proof That Mark Wahlberg’s Crazy Exercise Regimen Pays Off

Mark Wahlberg is on vacation somewhere amazing, but we don’t really care where because LOOK AT HIS BODY.

The Deepwater Horizon star, 45, who exercises for at least three hours a day — every day! — showed off the results of his hard work at the beach on Monday. The Boston native, who for the record is in Barbados (details!), sported pink swim trunks with sharks on them by Vilebrequin, which retails for $250, for his dip. The bulging arms and cut chest were all his own.

For the record, Wahlberg’s wife, model Rhea Durham, a mom of four, is in sick shape herself. She took the plunge in a green and orange bikini and then caught some rays. We can only imagine the home gym they have in their 30,000-square-foot Beverly Park mansion. (In their old house, they had a two-floor gym featuring a professional boxing ring.)

The couple, who married in 2009, celebrated one another’s hot bodies by embracing in the water.

They also got cuddly on the sand.

Wahlberg, who is sporting a shaggier ‘do these days, clearly isn’t sitting around overindulging on Wahlburgers. In an interview with the Evening Standard last month, the star, who is had been filming Transformers: The Last Knight, said that he logs three to four hours of exercise each day. No days off.

As for a typical day in the life of Marky Mark, he’s up at 4 a.m. and starts with a very healthy breakfast (egg whites, sprouted grain bread, sliced avocado) or two (he’s been known to eat an entire chicken after his first breakfast) followed by logging about an hour in his home gym. By 7 a.m. he’s on the golf course (he lives near the Riviera Country Club, one of the premier golf spots in the country) and runs the course (!) while playing, logging another hour and a half of exercise all by 9 a.m. After a lunch or two (protein shakes, turkey burgers, and salads), he picks up his kids and then worked in another 45-minute workout jumping rope. A chef makes the family dinner (like teriyaki chicken and steak) because Durham “is not into cooking,” Wahlberg said. He’s in bed by 8:15 p.m.

And if you think that being on vacation changes things, think again. He’s not overindulging in frozen drinks or fried food. In fact, Wahlberg, who turned his own backyard into a private golf course, said in the same interview that his trainer, Brian Nguyen, typically comes along on Walhberg’s vacations, including the romantic ones — like Barbados — when the couple’s children are back at home. Further, the actor also brings all of his own food with him on vacation.

In other words: No time off. Ever. Hmm… Does that even count as a vacation then?
