Philadelphia Eagles win Super Bowl, poles now being climbed
It's party time in Philly.
The Philadelphia Eagles ended a 57-year gap between championships by beating the New England Patriots on Sunday, claiming their first ever Super Bowl title.

When the Eagles won the NFC championship two weeks ago, the city descended into relative chaos as fans ascended Crisco-greased poles designed to keep them from doing so.
Ahead of the Super Bowl, police opted for hydraulic fluid (a.k.a. motor oil) as a deterrent.
Philadelphia pole climbers: meet your match tonight. As predicted, no Crisco on the poles. Instead, police are using hydraulic fluid. And it's water resistant, too, they said, so this afternoon's rain won't make it any easier for you to climb. pic.twitter.com/5GvI9BRhaQ

It's not just the poles that are the target: Philly might just burn itself down, it would seem.
