Philadelphia-based retailer opening first Sacramento-area location

(FOX40.COM) — A Philadelphia-based women’s clothing brand is set to open its first store in the Sacramento area.

Free People is opening its first location in the region at Westfield Galleria in Roseville, according to the mall’s website.

The retailer is advertised as “an evolving contemporary fashion brand for women” and offers clothing items including patterned sweaters, knits and skirts, according to the company.

Free People has 203 stores worldwide and 36 locations in California.

New sushi restaurant opens next to Arden Fair Mall

The company has other Northern California locations in Santa Clara, Napa, Walnut Creek and Santa Cruz.

The women’s clothing retailer is among the new stores coming to the Galleria. Amour Vert, Gorjana, and Abercrombie Kids are listed on the mall’s online directory as “coming soon.”
