Pharma, tobacco, and food companies fuel inaugural festivities

WASHINGTON — Tobacco, food, and drug companies with a host of critical issues in play donated millions of dollars to Donald Trump’s inauguration, according to federal reports.

RAI Services, an affiliate of tobacco giant RJ Reynolds, contributed a cool million on January 11. Altria Client Services, the family of companies that includes Philip Morris International, gave less but sooner: $500,000 on December 28.
