The Petroleum Museum's Brown Bag Lunch and Lectures give the community the chance to visit with authors, scientists, artists, and historians who recount the petroleum industry's beginning, present and future, along with topics of local and historical interest. These lectures are sponsored by Norma J. McGrew & Hahl Proctor Charitable Trust, Bank of America, N.A., Trustee. Admission is always free. Drinks and dessert are provided.

Standing on a hilltop lookout in West Texas, the remains of 170-year-old Fort McKavett is considered one of the best preserved and most intact examples of a Texas Indian Wars military post. Along with serving as the Site Manager for this beautiful historic site, Mobley also preserves its history through photographs.
