ST. LOUIS – PETA will showcase its eye-opening ‘Without Consent’ exhibit Wednesday in Kiener Plaza.

That’s near Washington University in St. . Louis, where PETA says animals have suffered in painful, pointless tests. The animal rights group says mice were infected with sepsis or prevented from sleeping for days. They also say pigs were killed from electric shock and blood draining.

PETA says they hope their exhibit will encourage universities to stop using animals in studies and instead use other research methods, such as human-based 3D printed tissue. The Without Consent exhibit will be open from noon to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
