Pet of the Week: Violet loves playing and having fun then winding down by snuggling
Come play with me! My name is Violet (Desiree) and I am a healthy 35-40 pound, 2-year-old lab mix and can be adopted through Heartland Small Animal Rescue. I am housebroken and don’t mind sleeping in my crate. I love playing with other dogs (cats, not so much) and I am good with children, although because I am young and excitable, I could be a little much for some kids. I would enjoy sharing my toys and playing with you, then we could wind down with a good snuggle.
Note from Heartland: Violet was recently returned because she was a little protective of her person and this made a senior dog in the house stressed. We are confident that Violet can live with other dogs and would benefit from an experienced dog owner and some more training. She’s a girl that just wants to have fun.
