Person struck by train, multiple subway lines delayed: MTA

NEW YORK (PIX11) – A person was struck by a train early Friday, causing numerous subway lines to be delayed, according to the MTA.

The person was struck near Second Avenue, the MTA wrote on X. Additional information regarding their condition and how they ended up on the tracks was not immediately available.

F and M trains were running with delays in both directions. A, C and E trains were also running with delays in both directions after F trains were rerouted from Brooklyn to Manhattan, according to the MTA. Regular service on all lines has since resumed.
