Person robbed, assaulted by group at Mobile park: Police

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A person was robbed at a Mobile park Tuesday night, according to a news release from the Mobile Police Department.

Officers were called to a Checkers restaurant on Airport Boulevard around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a robbery.

INCIDENT LOCATION:

When officers arrived, they found that the victim had allegedly been robbed and jumped by five people at Public Safety Memorial Park. Following the robbery, the victim ran to the restaurant to report it, according to the release.

Police said the victim received minor injuries and the investigation is ongoing.
