Person hurt after crashing into tree in Rockville

ROCKVILLE, Md. (DC News Now) — The Rockville City Police Department (RCPD) and Montgomery County Police Department were at the scene of a crash that left a person hurt on Sunday evening.

Crews arrived at the area of Research Boulevard and Shady Grove Road at about 5:45 p.m. Units found a car traveling south on Research Boulevard left the roadway and hit a tree.

Man dies after being hit by car in Prince George’s County

The driver was taken to a hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The cause of the crash is being investigated by RCPD.
