Perseid Meteor shower fills the night sky

The Perseid Meteor shower has returned for its annual show, lighting up the night sky for stargazers. The spectacular sight occurs every August between the 12th and 13th and the peak time to see it was Sunday night. It occurs every year as the Earth ploughs through dusty debris left by Comet Swift-Tuttle. (AFP)
