The state of California is suffering from severe wildfires, and the images we're seeing are devastating. Both Northern and Southern California are affected, with 2018 being one of the most destructive fire seasons in California history. In the Northern part of the state, the Camp Fire in Paradise claimed 29 lives, and over 6,700 homes and businesses have burned down. Two have died in the Woolsey Fire in Los Angeles, 370 structures have burned, and it's still only 20% contained. Statewide, 250,000 people have been forced to evacuate. Here's what you can do to help.

At this point, sending money is much easier than sending goods. Volunteers will have to spend time sorting through goods received, but with money, they can immediately buy exactly what is needed.

The Salvation Army is providing meals to those affected by the fires.

The Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation is requesting donations to put towards backpacks and hydration efforts to those on the frontlines of the wildfires.

Direct Relief is providing masks, medicine, and other resources to healthcare agencies and first responders.
