Pensacola woman arrested after child was found 2 blocks away: Arrest report

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — A Pensacola woman was arrested Wednesday after the child she was taking care of was found two blocks away, according to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.

32-year-old Chelsey Michelle Johnson was arrested and charged with child neglect.

According to Johnson’s arrest report, a woman found a child walking on the road two blocks away from where Johnson was supposed to be watching the child.

The arrest report said a similar incident occurred previously. Johnson was not given a bond.
