Pensacola transitional housing program to host fundraising event

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — Max-Well Respite Center, a Pensacola transitional housing program “designed to help families, couples, veterans, and single individuals successfully transition from dependency to independence and self-sufficiency,” is preparing to host a fundraising event.

The fundraising event, called Dinner & Music Fundraiser, is scheduled for June 21, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. at 2200 North Palafox Street Pensacola, Florida 32501.

According to a release, the fundraiser will help to keep the center’s doors open.

“Max-Well Respite Center needs your monetary donations. We give a hand-up, not a hand-out by teaching self-sufficiency through life-skills classes using personalized case management.
We help veterans, singles, and families, and offer emergency shelter programs.”

Tickets to the fundraiser are listed as $50 on the release and seats are limited. Those who wish to attend can call 850-332-6677 to donate or purchase tickets.
