Pensacola sanitation services delayed, officials say

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — The City of Pensacola is suspending some services as showers and strong storms with damaging winds, hail, and possible tornadoes pose hazards along the Gulf Coast.

According to a news release, the City of Pensacola Sanitation Services has stopped operations of City Sanitation vehicles due to severe weather.

Officials say the operations’ halt today means there will be a delayed schedule this week.

“Sanitation Services will operate on a delayed schedule, completing Monday and Tuesday route operations by Wednesday, May 15,” the release said.
