Pensacola officials encourage drivers not to park in front of Bruce Beach Park

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — The bus bay at West Main Street at Bruce Beach Park is not for the general public. That’s the message Pensacola officials want to send.

Violators have no excuse, with “No Parking” signs in the area.

“Ample parking” is available at Vince Whibbs, Sr. Community Maritime Park for those who drive to the park, according to officials.

There is no charge to park in the lot — shown below — unless there is a special event.

Visitors should not park at the lots directly adjacent to Bruce Beacah along S. Coyle Street as they are privately run.
