Pensacola Navy Days Parade, Fun Fest canceled due to severe weather threat

Due to concerns over potential severe weather forecast for the weekend, several changes and cancelations have been made to the Pensacola Navy Days weekend of events.

FRIDAY

Gallery Night

Gallery Night, 5-9 p.m. tonight, is scheduled to proceed. Downtown Pensacola’s popular Gallery Night will be themed for Navy Days/Military Appreciation to honor the men and women serving our country. Wear red, white and blue and join in the festivities.

U.S. Coast Guard Cutters Tours

U.S. Coast Guard Cutters tours on Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. are scheduled to proceed. The public is invited to tour the U.S. Coast Guard Cutters Jacob Poroo and Stingray, both docked at Plaza DeLuna.

SATURDAY

Navy Days 4K Run/Walk

Navy Days 4K Run/Walk will take place at 8 a.m. Saturday. This unique 4K (2.4 miles) race starts at Community Maritime Park and loops through Downtown to Veterans Memorial Park and back.

Navy Days Parade

Navy Days Parade, originally scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Saturday has been canceled.

U.S. Coast Guard Cutters Tours

U.S. Coast Guard Cutters Tours from10 a.m.–5 p.m. Saturday are scheduled to proceed. The public is invited to tour the U.S. Coast Guard Cutters Jacob Poroo and Stingray, both docked at Plaza DeLuna.

Navy Days Fun Fest at Maritime Park

Navy Days Fun Fest at Maritime Park on Saturday will move proclamations to the Hancock Club at Blue Wahoos Stadium at 11 a.m. Saturday. All other Fun Fest activities are canceled.

SUNDAY

U.S. Coast Guard Cutters Tours

U.S. Coast Guard Cutters Tours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday are scheduled to proceed. The public is invited to tour U.S. Coast Guard Cutters USCG Jacob Poroo, and USCG Stingray, both docked at Plaza DeLuna.

Blues on the Bay Concert

Blues on the Bay Concert from 6 - 8 p.m. on Sunday is scheduled to proceed. Pack a cooler and blanket and join us at the Community Maritime Park Amphitheater for a free concert featuring the Modern Eldorados.
