When deputies arrived, they reportedly found a woman and a baby with her, neither of whom were injured.

The woman told deputies there had been an argument with a man, now identified as Montgomery, outside of the apartment when the man allegedly pulled a gun out and started waving it around.

Officials said the man kept saying he was going to shoot her, at which point she went inside, and he left.

According to officials, Montgomery came back to the apartment, and when the woman opened her door, he raised the gun up. The woman was able to shut the door before he fired a shot, hitting the door.
