Pennsylvania store seeks customer _ so they can apologize

YORK, Pa. (AP) — A Pennsylvania soap shop has posted a surveillance photo of a customer on its Facebook page, but not because they think she's a shoplifter.

Instead, the Sunrise Soap Company tells the York Daily Record (http://bit.ly/2gRUUqL ) that employees want to apologize to the woman for giving her less-than-excellent customer service.

The store's Facebook post says the store owes "this patient, kind, sweet customer a free lip balm, a free soap, a free hug and a big apology."

Candy Gingerich, an employee of the store in downtown York, says first-time customers are supposed to get a free soap sample and product information. But the woman who came into the shop on Tuesday missed out on that part of the customer experience.

They're hoping the woman or her friends will see the Facebook picture.
