Pennsylvania State Police arrest Cumberland County man after 130 MPH chase

HAMPDEN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) – Pennsylvania State Police arrested a Cumberland County man on Monday after a high-speed chase that involved speeds over 130 MPH.

State Police say just after midnight on March 25 Troopers were engaged in a chase on PA 581W in Hampden Township. Troopers were following a silver Infinity G37 that reached speeds of 130 MPH before the chase was terminated.

Troopers were able to obtain the vehicle’s registration plate, which was linked to Ryan Heisey of Mechanicsburg.
Heisey was arrested shortly after the chase ended and is facing charges including fleeing to attempting to elide an officer and resisting arrest.

Heisey remains in the Cumberland County Prison on $3,000 bail.
