Jul. 3—Penn's Northeast, a regional economic development agency, and the Sordoni Family Foundation, a private charitable foundation, partnered to create an educational guide focused on the top programs offered at local colleges and universities.

The guide highlights a wide range of programs including mechatronics technology at Johnson College which prepares graduates as entry-level technicians, project and supply chain management at Penn State Hazleton which provides students with an opportunity to develop the skills necessary to design and operate complex management systems, and cybersecurity at Lackawanna College which trains students how to prevent major threats and attacks.
