Pelicans fan hilariously joins pregame warmups before security stops him (Video)
We are all this New Orleans Pelicans fan.
If you’ve ever been to an NBA game, you’ve probably wanted to join pregame warmups, when ball boys feed players during a free-for-all shootaround. Well, this Pelicans fan took that fantasy a step further:
A Pelicans fan snuck on to the court for warmups, stretched and put up a shot before the police escorted him off. Dying pic.twitter.com/ckytG5T8q1

Comedian Tony Roberts, who was in New Orleans over the weekend to host Boogie’s Comedy Slam — a fundraiser established by recently injured Pelicans center DeMarcus Cousins — laid claim to the prank.
Not only did Roberts get some hilarious light stretching in on the court before the Pelicans’ victory against the Houston Rockets on Friday night, but he actually got someone to pass him the ball. He even got a shot off before security ushered him back to his front-row seat with a light reprimand.
It doesn’t appear Roberts made the shot, so I’m not sure he’s the floor-spacing wing New Orleans needs, but he might have found his calling as an improv physical comic, because this bit is hilarious.
