Pekka Rinne makes save of the year candidate in Game 4 (Video)

NASHVILLE – Pekka Rinne of the Nashville Predators had two rough games to open the Stanley Cup Final in Pittsburgh.

Suffice it to say, he’s steadied his game in front of the raucous home fans at Bridgestone Arena.

There was no better evidence of this in Game 4 than this incredible sequence of saves, in which Rinne stoned Sidney Crosby – who had already beaten him once on a breakaway – and then dove across the crease to keep a Jake Guentzel potential tying goal out of the net.

Kudos to Ryan Ellis for that check on Guentzel that no doubt affected his shot attempt.

But still, incredible save from Pekka Rinne, who has regained his MVP form in this series.
