Take a Peek Inside Meg Ryan's $10 Million N.Y.C. Apartment

Actress Meg Ryan is on the move. The When Harry Met Sally and You've Got Mail star just listed her loft in New York City's prime SoHo neighborhood for a cool $10.9 million. The fashionable area is home to many 19th century buildings with cast iron fronts and large windows--and Ryan's home is equally light-filled.

Ryan bought the three-bedroom, three-bathroom loft--part of an 1888 building that was once a button factory--from fellow actor Hank Azaria in 2014. (The home was previously owned by artist Cindy Sherman.) Since then, Ryan has worked with architect Joel Barkley and designer Monique Gibson to transform and gut-renovate the space.

The 4,100-square-foot loft has beautiful prewar details, including an ornate decorative fireplace, a large private entry foyer with black and white patterned tiles, seven original architectural columns, and high ceilings (the living room's is 12 feet high). Other stylish features include floor-to-ceiling French doors, ebony-hued floors, industrial pendant lighting in the kitchen and master bathroom, and a 40-foot gallery with five large windows.

The gourmet kitchen features white subway tiles, a Viking range with six burners and a grill, two stainless steel refrigerators, custom cabinetry, and marble countertops and shelving. Ryan's home isn't lacking in storage space, either--the master bedroom has eight closets, plus there's a service hall with additional spots to stash items.
