Pedestrian killed crossing Highway 69 in Lindale

LINDALE, Texas (KETK) – The Lindale Police Department said that a pedestrian was killed while crossing Highway 69 near Interstate 20 on Friday.

East Texas woman arrested after meth found during traffic stop

According to Lindale PD, the crash was reported at 8:16 p.m. on Friday after a pedestrian was hit crossing from the QuikTrip gas station to McDonalds.

Bill Darling, 60 of Oregon, was hit by a Dodge 3500 truck as he crossed the highway and officials said he died at the scene.

Lindale PD is continuing to investigate the crash.
