Pedestrian was hit, killed by EMS vehicle in Dauphin County

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– Officials have released new details on Friday about the deadly pedestrian crash in Dauphin County.

According to a spokesperson for the county, the 62-year-old man was accidentally hit by an EMS vehicle at S. River Rd. and Inglenook Rd., in Reed Twp. Officials are currently trying to reach the man’s next of kin but have been unsuccessful.

After an autopsy, the man’s cause of death was determined to be multiple traumatic injuries and the manner of death was deemed accidental, the spokesperson says.
