And we're kind of in love with the stripped down approach – the simplicity, romance, and raw emotion are enough to make our hearts skip a beat. From Sally Pinera... Engagement sessions are a beautiful way to capture the intimate love between a couple. I would deem them to be just as important as the wedding photos because its just you two, nothing else – no dress, no guest, no vow book – just you two that make it special. Annabelle and Carlos wanted their session to be as intimate as possible while showcasing the city that they met, fell in love, and lived in. It's always important to not force things at an engagement session. Allowing natural rhythms, natural movements, and natural stages to happen give way to magical moments! For Annabelle and Carlos, we had an intimate yet playful session indoors in the comfort of a bed. There were no frills, no crazy mountain backdrops, no gown or flowers. Just the two of them, in love, in the comfiest clothes. With that, we headed into the hustle of the city and walked around Central Park and the iconic Top of the Rock to finish their session as true New York lovers.
