NORTH NEWTON, Kan. (KSNW) – A peaceful protest at Bethel College in North Newton Wednesday evening to remember the more than 33,000 people killed in Gaza and Israel since the Hamas attacks of Oct. 7.

“I think there are atrocities taking place right now. They’re killing women and children, and it doesn’t seem to be stopping,” said Bethel College Alumnus Mark Stucky. “We have a humanitarian crisis right now because they can’t get food, they can’t get water,”

The event at Bethel College is scheduled to continue all day Thursday and Friday.
