Pea Ridge police respond to high-speed pursuit
PEA RIDGE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Pea Ridge police say they are responding to a high-speed pursuit that took place on Thursday afternoon, according to a Facebook post.
PRPD says the pursuit started on Hazelton Road and proceeded west toward Bentonville. The pursuit ended at Highway 72 and Price Coffee Road where the suspect wrecked, the post said.
As of 4 p.m., officers are still on the scene and the occupants of the vehicle were detained pending investigation.
PRPD says there is no threat to the community.
