PD: Undercover sting leads to arrest in illegal gun sale

WYOMING BOROUGH, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man trying to buy an illegal gun during an undercover investigation has been arrested, said police.

The Wyoming Area Regional Police Department stated an undercover investigation was completed into the illegal attempt to purchase a gun.

Man allegedly throws woman out window, threatened officers

On Friday, May 10, officers executed an arrest warrant for Dakota Jarmusik, who police say tried to purchase a gun from an undercover detective.

Officers noted that Jarmusik was on probation for a prior assault offense.

Jarmusik is being held at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility and he faces the charges of criminal solicitation, and sales of firearms.
