PD: 1 dead in Kentwood crash involving motorcycle

KENTWOOD, Mich. (WOOD) — One person died in a crash involving a motorcycle in Kentwood Monday afternoon, police said.

It happened around 2:41 p.m. at the intersection of 60th Street and Wing Avenue. Officers with the Kentwood Police Department and Kent County Sheriff’s Office arrived to find a motorcycle and an automobile had crashed, police said.

First responders gave medical aid to a victim but that person was pronounced dead. No other injuries were reported, according to police.

It’s unclear what led up to the crash. It is still under investigation.
