Paychex buys recruiting and hiring software system maker HR Services; doesn't disclose terms
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) -- Payroll processor and human-resources services provider Paychex Inc. said Wednesday it acquired HR Services Inc. and its myStaffingPro system.
Paychex said myStaffingPro is a Web-based system that offers recruiting, applicant tracking and employee training. It is designed to streamline and simplify the applicant workflow and hiring process.
HR Services is based in Lima, Ohio, and it is now a unit of Paychex. The companies didn't disclose terms of the purchase.
Shares of Paychex rose 7 cents to $36.81 in afternoon trading.
